Stability of the separable solutions for a nonlinear boundary diffusion problem

The topic of this talk is about a nonlinear boundary diffusion problem. We show that its solutions may blow up in finite time, or become extinct in finite time, or exist for a long time, with a precise decay or growth rate. We further investigate the asymptotic behavior of its solutions and prove the stability of its separable solutions. Some sharp convergence rates and higher order asymptotics are also obtained. This is joint with Tianling Jin and Xuzhou Yang.
