Academic Committee for School of Mathematics was Founded

On April 21, 2017, the first professors meeting for School of Mathematics was held at the fifth meeting room in Weijin campus’ conference building. In this meeting, the academic committee members of the School of Mathematics were elected by secret ballot, and School of Mathematics Academic Committee Constitution (trial version) of Tianjin University was adopted by the academic committee.
 
The members of Academic Committee are composed of senior professional and technical personnel, and the number of members is seven. The committee members election was carried out following the principle of democratic centralism.
 
In addition, the Academic Committee decided to launch a discipline construction group that is composed of the seven academic committeemen, and Dean Sun Xiaotao was elected the head of this group.
